Long ago A boy called Maui lived with his brothers in a village.The days were going to fast because the was not in the sky long enogh so the people couldnt get thier work done!they were Angry!.Maui decided to get some flax bush rops.His brothers hepled Maui to and they walked to the suns house.Maui said''throw when I say so."Then the sun was awaked and the brothers threw thier rops and Maui used his jaw bone and hit the sun.The sun said''you will kill me.Maui replyed back''I wont kill you but I will make you more slow when the sun was weak the sun went into the sky and there was longer days.

long long ago there lived a boy called Maui.Maui lived with his brothers.One day the sun came.Maui and his brother's were angry.They didn't get time to finish their work.Maui had a plan so he could get the sun.Maui said to his brother's''we will get some flax bushs and turn them into ropes.''When they finished making the rope's they went to the sun's home so they can catch the sun was waking up  so they decided to hide from him.The sun came up and it saw them,they fighted with the sun.Maui told them to put the ropes on the sun.When they put the ropes on the sun Maui put a hard anchor on his head and it hurt the sun but now the sun would go slowly not fast.

Maui asked his brothers to help him slow down the sun with flax bush rope so they went at night so the sun would not notice.When they got there they hid then they got the sun and hurt the sun a lot of times and made him weak.Now the sun was slow.The End.

But there was a problem the sun was going too fast and the day,s got short.Then one day Maui said to his brother's ''we need to slow down that sun''. So Maui told them his plan to slow down the sun. that  night they made strong rope,s out of flax's. Then they walked near where the sun was. Then they made a pile of clay to block them and when they saw the sun they got the rope's and got sun. So now the day's were longer.
